Thank you for your interest in our fundraiser for Josh Hines. For years, Josh has suffered from Wegener's granulomatosis and has been in need of a kidney transplant which has required him to undergo dialysis 3 times per week. Due to complications from his condition, Josh developed pyoderma gangrenosum and it recently became necessary for him to undergo amputation of both of his legs. Unfortunately, Josh's condition worsened, and he courageously lost his battle on the evening of July 14th. Josh selflessly served the Elberta community for 15 years as a member of our department, and we hope you can help us give back to him. We are pre-selling t-shirts and smoked Boston Butts for pickup at a fundraiser event scheduled for August 7, 2021 from 8AM-2PM at the Elberta Town Park. There will also be pulled pork plates for $10, entertainment by Brittany Grimes, and a silent auction. We hope you will come out to support the fundraiser! Please follow the links below to purchase a t-shirt or Boston Butt. Purchase of these two items will not be available at the event - items must be pre-ordered online through the links below. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go into a fund managed by Elberta Fire that will be used for Josh's medical bills and final expenses.
