Welcome to the home of the Elberta Fire Department online! We currently protect an estimated 6,734 citizens within the fire jurisdiction. Our department consists of 23 volunteer members, 3 stations, and 9 apparatus. Our current ISO rating is 6. To contact any of our firefighters, check out the Personnel page. If you live or work in Elberta and have an interest in joining our department, we hold training meetings every Monday night at 6PM at Station 1 behind the former Elberta Town Hall (currently Fireman's Hall). We are always looking for new recruits, so come by and fill out an application or click here to download an application, print it out and bring it with you to a meeting!

We are currently seeking sponsors for the Elberta German Sausage Festival. If your business is interested, please visit our Sausage Festival page. The Sausage Festival is a bi-annual fundraiser for the Elberta Volunteer Fire Department that attracts approx. 30,000 people per festival. All proceeds benefit the fire department. The festival has over 200 arts and crafts booths, and we cook approx. 7,000 lbs of Elberta German Sausage per festival.
